How does the AI-powered YummifAI feature work?
Simply take a photo of a dish, and our advanced, high-performance AI will identify it. You'll get detailed instructions, summary, nutrition facts, ingredients, cooking instructions, and preparation time in seconds. You have 10 daily credits available for this feature. Your credits will reset to 10 at the start of each new day in your local timezone.
Can Yummify help reduce food waste?
Yes! By entering the ingredients you already have, Yummify will suggest creative recipes so you can make the most of what's in your fridge.
Do I need an account to use Yummify?
You can explore basic features without an account, but signing up allows you to save meal plans, track favorites, and access personalized recommendations.
What factors influence my meal planner recommendations?
Your meal planner is tailored based on several key factors:
Goals and Activity Level: Whether you're aiming for weight loss, muscle gain, or general wellness.
Diet Preferences: Choose from options like vegan, keto, or vegetarian.
Allergens & Intolerances: Ingredients to avoid due to allergies or sensitivities.
Excluded Ingredients: Any ingredients you prefer not to include in your meal plan.
Personal Data: Information like your age, gender, height, and weight.
To update these factors:
Goals, Activity Level, Diet Preferences, Allergens, and Excluded Ingredients: Go to Settings > Personalization.
Gender, Height, and Weight: Update under Settings > Account Information > Personal Data.
How can I customize my recipe searches?
When you tap the search bar, the Search and Filter Popup allows you to refine your recipe search with the following options:
Diet Preferences: Filter recipes based on your selected diet type (e.g., vegan, keto).
Allergens & Intolerances: Exclude recipes containing ingredients you're sensitive to.
Excluded Ingredients: Recipes will automatically exclude ingredients you’ve specified as unwanted.
Note: To update your excluded ingredients, navigate to Settings > Personalization.
Additionally, you can use the Cuisine Selection on the recipe search page to focus on specific cuisines, such as Italian, Indian, or African.
What does the Save Preferences button do in filter?
The Save Preferences button, located in the filter Popup, ensures your changes are applied to:
All future recipe searches.
Your meal planner recommendations.
These preferences will stay active until you update them in Settings > Personalization or via the filter popup.
Does Yummify work offline?
While you need an internet connection to search recipes and use AI features, you can save meal plans and favorite recipes for offline use.
How secure is my data on Yummify?
Yummify ensures that all your data is securely stored and never shared with third parties without your consent.
